Fundraising for Shade Structures

This new method of fundraising is a safe easy fundraiser for participants no matter their age to partake in a school fundraising. Fundraising for Shade does not require any PTA/PTO product inventory or PTA/PTO investment, or carry around of product.

How does it work?

Firstly, your school PTA/PTO will decide in consultation with School Administration what shade is needed for school ground cover. Perhaps it is shade over your hot and over-exposed outdoor basketball courts, or to shade school playground equipment, or shade your spectators, or shade for a communal areas canopy in the school campus. Whatever, the need, it will be necessary to determine the amount of shade required for that particular area. To assist this purpose Fundraising Guidelines for Shade Structures outlines specific areas to assist your shade fundraiser and our Shade Structure Brochure outlines various shade structure applications.

Shade Structures currently cost between $ 10 - $ 15 per square foot, our method of fundraising is designed to assist you to raise the amount required as you fundraise, and therefore your earnings do not pay for any fundraising operational costs.

Once you have determined the areas of outdoor shade required, our templates will provide you with the materials required to fundraise per structure. For example, if you require a shade structure of 20ft x 30ft we will dissect the covered area and provide you with materials to raise the amount of funds in question. The only outside costs entailed are the installation costs of the shade structures which include labor and materials. Installation can be done by school PTA/PTO with parental involvement and donation of time by offering their services gratis for this project thus allowing your school a 25% discount overall. Additionally we offer a building contractor invitation to install template, to promote local building contractor business through publicity gained from this support.
